Management Graphics workstation The significance of these pieces is not my sophisticated illustrations -- I'm not really an illustrator -- but that they were created largely by editing the geometry specifications as text files. For example, At the time, the digitizing tablet was really only good for rough placement. To tweak illustrations, you used SPED, the Speed Editor. It was actually considered "easier" to edit the geometry code itself than deal with the limitations of the WYSIWYG editing tools. This was like writing PostScript to do page layout, but you work with what's available. |
